My tummy feels as if it's gonna explode anytime soon. I feel like one of those poor stuffed christmas turkeys...oh my goodness...
Reason being...
I just got back from a really nice dinner outing with some of my ex-canoeing team mates. We had a sushi buffet @ Sakae Sushi! Was really nice catching up with the rest of the guys+gal, even though we did already meet over the chinese new yr period. With such great friends ard, every outing is just filled with laughter, suanning, crapping, typical dirty jokes and puns and of coz, the ever famous talks filled with vulgarities. Hahaha...kinda used to all of it already... it's ur typical testosterone-filled male dominated canoeing team.
Food was pretty good, although everyone at my table got full pretty quickly. Of coz la, what would u expect...just abt 15 mins into the dinner, the guys (mainly them) and I have already created our twin mega structures replicating that of the leaning tower of Pisa. My table really dug ourselves into the food determined to make our money's worth! I reckon Heng personally ate the most, but no lost for him i guess...well done dude! He just kept eating and eating, plate after plate.... and Weihao on the other hand seemed really facinated with some of the ingredients used in some of the dishes, that he even called the waitress over to ask what sauces they used..etc. But of coz, weihao had other plans....ooo...u sly guy! Naughty naughty! Weihao was actually 'bio-ing' (eyeing) this waitress, and the guys at the other table were daring him to ask for her number... tryin to be helpful by giving him cheesy ways to help pick her up. JK on the other hand didn't want to have anything involved with the plan. Hahah... wise choice!
Over at the other table...i think their conversations were pretty random... sex, gals, sch....i dunno what else. No outing is complete with Anthony aka Burden, he's just filled with so much crap, quick witted guy i must add, but just a burden, literally! hahah! (kiddin la) Apparently Heng and Hao had a new interest this evening - learning how to scold vulgarities and other stuff in different languages.... hahaha. First Malay, then Jap and then in Indonesian!!! Well....nonetheless, I had a really enjoyable time...i bet the rest did too! Too bad some of the others were unable to make it.
I think Sushi buffet places make good money...i mean when u think abt it,how much sushi can u actually gobble down within the time u're there??? Unless u're the type that targets the 'lighter' dishes like miso soup, items without rice in them.... coz ultimately its the jap rice that fills u up the fastest...all that carbs into ur system! Then again, we're talking abt sushi!!!
Next up, hopefully the tentative plan of going out clubbin/drinking will proceed this upcoming week......coz i'll be leaving on SUNDAY!!!! Back to aust i go to complete my final yr at uni! I'm kinda sad come to think abt it! It's always the final week here that i get all grumpy and moody...coz i know it's gonna be another whole yr before i get to see my family and friends! *sighz*
I hate this time of the month....
