Woke up early this morning for work (yeah! my last lifeguarding shift for the year 2006) with a dreadful continuous sharp pain in my right forearm. I guess I must have slept on it the entire night thru! It hurts real bad now... ouch!
The house really looks bare now... luggage all packed and ready to go - less than 24 hours and I'll be back home in hot & humid Singapore. Looking forward to touching down and once again induldging in all the yumm local food. Guess I'm gonna be a food junkie for a good part of the time that I'm back. Need to remember to exercise to compensate!
Results were out today - did pretty ok, although I'm never usually satisfied with what I get (typical perfectionist at heart). My parents keep reminding me to be more complanciant and grateful... Well nonetheless, another year in Australia has just gone by - I've graduated from University and now it's thinking and planning what's the next best step to take... will it be another year at uni doing Honours, or head out and venture into the working world... lots of decisions to be made before 2006 comes to a close. Wish me the best yea?
The pain in my arm is killing me... okie dokie, time for dinner!
I'm getting really excited now... 5 more days till I return to Singapore.

Coz my housemate and I are moving out of the current appartment, the past few days have just been filled with tonnes of packing, cleaning, discarding and being appauled at the amount of junk that we have accumulated over the last 3-4years! For a moment our appartment looked kinda like a warehouse stocked with boxes of stuff. It's quite amazing finding stuff u never realised u had or how when u dig deep into the kitchen cupboard, u find can food that has expired in 2004.. haha! But ok, we're pretty neat and tidy in real life ok.
Nonetheless, it's been kidna fun and theraputic cleaning the house with my housemate... later today I'll have to dismantle my bed and study table... soon my room will be bare. In fact the house is starting to look real bare. Weird feeling!
Spent the earlier part of the day at the beach with MJ. It must have been a few months at least when I last chilled out there. We had a mini tanning session... was great. The weather was Puuurfect! Was just chilling out and talking and we realised what the hell we have been doing since the exams were over! We've basically been bumming ard at home when there was always the option of chilling out on the beach! And now that we've only got another 4-5days here in Aust, we started to treausre the fun we get out of hanging out there! *sighz*
We started playing in water like childish 5 year olds who have never seen the ocean! I must admit it was hell fun though. We're going back there on Sunday to maximise our last few days here... haha! Never too late to soak in the last bit of the aussie spirit and summer for the year!
