The last 5 days have been really GREAT! Headed up the northern part of Western Australia for our roadtrip. 5 fun-filled days with 5 great pals....Mish, Daryl, Charles, Jon and Me! Heehee!
I think the only bad part of the entire trip was the freaking long hours of driving...thank God i dun have to drive! (shall get my driver's license next yr) Can u even imagine...approx 900km of road to cover! Lucky for us we've got 3 drivers, so it wasn't that bad and tiring for them. We killed time and boredom playing tai tee at the back...talking nonsense and playing stupid catergory games which i unfortunately always seem to loose! Damn!
Headed for Kalbarri on our first day. Went abseling @ the Z-bend, which is this really beautiful place formed by many gorges eroding thru the land....tracked in the area quite a bit....but obviously the most enjoyable part of it was the abseling. Our guide and instructor was Rob, he was really nice cept for the dumb song that he kept humming asking us if it sounded nice! Did 5 abseils...3 backwards and the last 2 fowards...i reckon the forwards one were the best....really felt as if it was the kinda those mission impossible thingy. *super fun man*

Ok...but one thing i have to mention was the horrible heat and the countless number of irritating houseflies that were just buzzing all over and landing on our faces and stuff....arghhhh....i can easily tell u w/o exgerrating that we had to constantly shoo off over 2000 houseflies on the entire trip...possible more in fact!!!! *gross* Spent the rest of the day suntanning along the beach....nice...clear waters too....*grins*

Left for Denham on the 3rd day...further up North from Kalbarri. Small nice town and not too mention the places that we stayed in were really nice and cozy! It was just great to spent time and hang out with each other...the trip was constantly filled with loads of laughter. Relaxing it was....something different for a change. Back in the motels...spent most of time just chillin, snacking on junk food, playing thr guitar and tai tee, talking...TV...yea!
4th day....went to Monkey Mia....saw loads of pretty dolphins...they were so beautiful man...came so close to shore and so up close too. First time i actually saw so many at once. Lovely sight man. Too bad it became a little too cloudy in the afternoon...not much of a suntan! *sighz* so much for the hope of trying to even out my tan! *darn*

On our way back to Perth....dropped by Shell Beach...i tell u this beach has its name for a reason...the entire beach is just covered with shells! It's a pretty amazing sight. Shells of all sorts of shapes, sizes, colour, texture.....and the water was like crystal clear!

The drive home was a pretty long one....nonetheless....the entire trip was good. I had fun and i think the rest did too...really tired from all the adventure....have to get up early tmr...still got loads of stuff to settle.
