''The Singapore girl made famous by the national airline is a slender and charming woman, but in reality she lives in a fat-phobic society that has fuelled a multimillion-dollar diet-pill industry with tragic consequences.'' Ya surely, Singaporean gals are ?dying? to be thin...well I shd say literally making oneself die inside...why suffer? Sure, exercise doesn't seem like the best option...too hard, too tiring, no time???? WTF?? If u seriously wanna lose weight and keep it off, get ur lazy fat ass off and start working out and eating rite, cut that crap junk food! U think by popping those pills in ur mouth, fats actually miraculously disappears? PLS! Are u dumb or are u dumb? And the male population here is not much better, more and more blokes are turning to such stuff...surprised...well believe it! Gosh! What is society turning into? So much for health education in sch! Ppl are so educated nowadays...then again...ARE WE??
Up till now I seriously have no clue as to why ppl are so caught up with those shit slimming pills and relying on slimming centers to help them lose weight!'
The yearning to be thinner, compounded by ads, with the media glorifying 'role-models' who are underweight and medically unhealthy; normal healthy gals look up to dangerously thin models as having the 'to-die-for' physique. Not showing the health risk that these ppl are being exposed too!
Ok, some of u might be thinking that I'm just using it as an excuse...? I know myself...I'm not slim like some super model, neither am I like overweight! Just bigger built than most chicks. Big deal...I like the way I am, and I?m happy leading my life!
If u realized, over the recent years, there has been a rising number of slimming ads in the media, and a massive increase in the operation and promotion of slimming centers. It's coming to a point that it gets really irritating. It utterly preposterous and absurd I tell u!
For crying out loud, have u ever looked at the Singaporean women these days! They're like thin....some I would even say stick thin! It looks as if they're like walking bamboo poles, with sticks for their legs and twigs for their arms! *shock*
I swear if I gave them one punch, they'll just fall flat on the ground, and they'll be so bruised coz they barely have anything covering their bones! *gross* I mean...does the typical Singaporean chick really need to rely on such 'shortcuts' to achieve weight loss??? Frankly in my personal opinion, I think it's a real sad case...pathetic! For one, despite my size, I'm an anti-slimming pills/centers person; I believe in doing it the long hard way, nothing beats the proper method of good diet and exercise! (ok, I know I sound like some idiot who's like trying to promote healthy living and stuff...well I'm just stating my opinion!)
As the diet-slimming retailers and industries are grinning and laughing, racking in the profits...are the consumers happy inside? Women are their own worst enemy!
Pills, fat burners, slim wraps, tummy trim, Extrim, whatever trim...and the list goes on...Do ppl actually think that these stuff work??? For goodness sake...do u actually believe that those ppl in slimming center's commercials lose 14kg in 2 weeks??? I tell u as a sports science student, if u lose that much in 2 weeks, u must be crazy...its certainly a bad move, prolly does u more harm than good! Has not anyone already learnt form the Slim10 case??? *slaps forhead*
So for those ppl who have the ideology that all gals should be like stick thin, and that slim is beautiful, I say that u're the most shallow person, and that u need to wake up and start changing ur freaking perception of ppl ard u!
It's ur choice....
