I'm isolating myself in my room now to calm down...listening to some ditsy disney songs to cool down before I even erupt on New Year's Eve!
Ok, telling me to do something is one thing - I really won't mind helping and all.
BUT, never rush me and force me to do whatever u want as and when u please.
When I promise that I'll do it, I will, and I'll get it done within that day or whenever i think it needs to be completed.
I hate people chasing me to complete a certain task, just don't rush me.
I rather do whatever u want when i feel like it and have more mood to do so, if not u're gonna get sloppy results!

Big feast, great food, some tequila shots maybe?
Everyone's at peace, and love fills the air,

I imagined horse drawn carriages,with big golden wheels,
The men in top hats ; ladies in pointy shoes.
No one limps or catches a cold,
God's loves's so strong, not a single one will be forgotten.

The birdies are chirping and the bess are buzzing.
God calls out to the little children, and they gather at his feet,

So that's what I imagined Heaven will be,
But I'm sure it's way better, by a thousand times maybe.
I'm sure one day, I'll get to see,
When my time is done, and God takes me with Him.

Finally....the endless unforgiving rain has died down somewhat and Mr Sun is looking happy the past few days. Good good...hopefully it continues to stay that way! At least now I can get back to my swimming and jogging routine! I've been so restless and grumpy having been sedentary and inactive due to the rain.
Come to think abt it, I only have a month or so left back here in Singapore...then it's back to Perth for my final year at Uni. So fast! Doesn't even feel like a 3mth summer break. Then again, I'm quite looking forward to start a new semester...honestly, i'm pretty bored here in Singapore coz there's really nothing much to do. All my friends are just too busy to meet up or do anything. Everyone's busy @ work or uni/school. I think half the time I'm meeting up with my friends from Perth rather than those back home. My mum was just asking me 'Why are u always meeting up with ur Perth friends? Have u not had enough of them? Back in Perth u spend the entire year with them and now back here in Sg u're also meeting up!'
Well, at least I dun have much to complain abt this week. I've been kept pretty occupied, so that's good. I hate it when i've got nothing to do. I get restless too easily! Managed to meet up with a few close friends, and it was nice that Shijie treated me to a nice lunch..thanxs dude. Was also busy helping out to prepare the deco for my cousin's wedding that was held on Sat. They had a really simple but nice church wedding. Overall it was a joyous happy day. Was also good, coz i got to catch up with my relatives and cousins. I simply love weddings in my family.... seems like whenever a member of the family gets married, everyones get involved in the preparations in some way or another...i reckon its fun!
Hahaha, not bad not bad, got a few ang paos coz my other cousin and I were the 'tea ladies' during the tea ceremony. Apparently, my aunts were saying that it was high time they passed the job down to the next generation. Hahhaha, i dun mind doing it for the rest of the weddings till it comes to my turn! Ooooo....and dinner at Conrad Hotel was yummalicious! In my honest opinion i even think its better than Fullerton or Ritz Carlton. *no offence*
Looking forward to chinese new year now! I actually promised myself that i will try not to eat to much of the new yr goodies this time round, if not all my efforts would have gone to waste! *well, maybe with the exception of pineapple tarts! heehee!* Hmmmm.....come to me darling ang paos! Woohooo! Also can't wait for our annual CNY team gathering of the canoeing peeps. At least it's gonna be held at Hao's house this time round...for a change, instead of mine or Kang's!

Just last night my brother and I were channel surfing the telly and happen to come across this so called reality show that was featured on AXN...
It was entitled: MAN VS BEAST
OK, so in the first place....wat kind of f**king reality show title is that! Not that I can think of any other better name for the show...but come on man! Surely BEAST leh! I think the producers of the show were trying to make it sound SCARY....so they used BEAST, instead of some cheesy title like Who's More Superior, or Humans VS Animals...that would sound a tad too 'soft'...not fierce enough!
Anyway, for those of u who have not gotten the chance to see the stupid show or have no access to cable TV, it's seriously one of the most ridiculous shows that I've ever watched. I just feel that it's damn degrading and humiliating not only to the 'stupid, deluded' participants of the show but to the animals as well! I swaer animal activist will complain and petition against that show! OK, so the main point of the show....apparently one day the producers of the show had a meeting and thought that just for an experiment... it would be 'FUN' to conduct competitions between humans and animals. So they took a human who's like superior and excels in a certian area and put him/her up against another animal, from that...they see who wins! So yea...surely nothing better to do rite!
Let me just give u a few egs:
Competition 1-
Event: Fastest HotDog Eater (or i shd say globber)
Aim: Winnner is the 1st to finish 50 hotdogs
Competitors: Some Jap Dude who's the World record holder for eating the most number of hotdog bread in ??mins. VS A Grizzly Bear.
Verdict: Mr. Grizzly Bear won Japo by 2mins and 45secs
Competition 2-
Event: Tug of War (who's strongest)
Aim: Your regular tug of war with competitors standing on some platform thingy, winner is the one who can pull opponent into this yucky pool of mud
Competitiors: This Yokozuna Sumo wrestler VS a female adult orang utan
Verdict: Bloody Ape won la! [oh man, u shd have seen the sumo wrestler belly flop into the pull of mud!!!! it was a sight indeed]
Competition 3-
Event: 100m Sprint
Aim: Who crosses the 100m mark first
Competitiors: This american sprinter who's apparently holding one of the fastest sprint times (i think he took part in the olympics b4..not too sure abt that info though) Vs a Giraffe and a Zebra.
Verdict: Human guy won the Giraffe but overall....Mr Stripy Zebra won by like 50m! (i think he got inspired by his fellow mate in the movie Racing Stripes!)
Competition 4-
Event: Who's stronger???
Aim: To see who's the 1st to pull a Jumbo Jet across 25m
Competitiors: 44 human dwarfs VS an African Elephant
Verdict: Elephant won!
OK, so as u can see...super stupid rite! Oh my goodness, i can't believe i watched the entire show! As much as I do not support the production or airing of such a show, i was really amused by it! I just couldn't believe that such talented ppl would be so dumb to take part a competition where they are put up against an animal. Surely the human competition are insufficient to satisfy their competitive needs...still need to make themselves look ridiculous when they are up against an animal. Do they not have any sense of pride in them? Don't u reckon that its so degrading and humiliating? I mean i dun even care whether the the human or the animal wins...it's just not rite! I mean i'm there watchin the show and i see the poor animals...i really pity them!
Come on man...we are humans, already appointed and made by GOD as the superior beings on planet Earth! These animals all have their own special talents and strong areas which they use for adaptation for their own personal survival! I just feel that in no way are we even suppose to test God's creation by doing such pathetic stuff! I seriously dunno how the competitiors feel man. For one i just pity the animals...they look so lost coz aside from the fact they may know what they are doin....they dun even know Why the Hell they are doing it...it's two totally differnt things to be actully doin and knowing the reasons for doing so! Arghhh....unbelievable!
OK, even though i watched the show...I have to honestly say that i totally DO NOT support the freakin show! One thing's for sure...I'm makin sure i'm not gonna watch it again!

Into a yet another brand new year...2006!
Honestly, there's no special feeling whatsoever (not that anyone shd have any particular feeling when a brand new yr starts!). U know...it just seems 'normal', no big deal kinda thing. As much as i must admit that 2005 was a pretty fullfilling and enriching year for me.
Haven't really done much since the new yr started...basically i've been slacking and rottin away at home, soon to become a rotten couch potato...I love my daily dose of watching OPRAH (ooo... i love her!), HOUSE (he's one hell of a hot, sexy doctor), SIMPSONS.....
Indeed the telly has become my best friends esp since yesterday, coz i have the entire house to myself.... sch has started so my pesky siblings are in sch, mum and dad are at work.... no one fights with me for the remote...ahhhh....nice nice!
OOooo... haha, i know i may be kinda slow, but i finally learnt how to play BRIDGE! Thanxs to Chels, Weihao and Nic (who din do much, coz i kept scolding him). What started off as a movie outing ended off with us sitting uinder some shelter in Istana Park teaching Ja how to play Bridge! Thannxs peeps for teachin me and being so patient...coz half the time i was interupting the game asking 'why this' and 'why that' questions. OK, i have to finlly admit that i find the game pretty fun and intriging! Still have loads to learn though...i'm such a blur tootface!
On countless ocassions some of my friends have offered to teach me how to pay, but i kinda never hd the interest to start learning...so finally...these ppl, FORCED me to learnn, i really had not much of a choice anyway, it was either sit at the corner like an idiot watching them or learn the darn game....
Anyway, I'm getting hell irritated rite now...for the pass couple of days I've been awaken at 8am by the bloody loud drilling carried out at my void deck. It's drivin me nuts! They're doing some reconstruction of the floorin...imagine, i'm staying the highest floor and it's loud enough to drive me up the wall....pity the ppl who stay ont he 2nd storey! The drilling just goes on and on and on...and on and on and on! When are they gonna get done with it!!!! Arghhh! I freakin dun even need an alarm clock! They seem to be pretty on time evey morning...abt 8.10am...dun they know ppl want to sleep!!!!!! SIghz! Holiday also can't get my beauty sleep!
Miserable...its been raining practically everyday! Disgusting! I hope the rain stops soon...i wanna go joggin later!
