It's been quite awhile since I did something like that with my lil' sis...
The both of us went jogging together earlier this evening! Some of you might be thinking... Big Deal. Well, hell yea it's a big deal to me! I guess, it's just something different that I'm finally able to do together with my sis (Jessica), especially since, I've been away for the past 3 years studying in Australia; a period I felt she probably needed me the most.
I usually just go jogging on my own, coz it's really hard to find someone who stays close by and is willing to jog with you. It's even harder to find someone who you're comfortable to run with in terms of pacing and stamina. Not to say that my stamina is great or anything, but it's always good to have a running buddy who can accommodate to you and vice versa. That's if u get what I mean... So yea, my sis prob makes the closest cut. In fact, I somehow reckon she's much fitter than me now! With all her netball and track training. Darn! Gives me all the more reason to train up my fitness and stamina once again.
Overall I say it was a fun run for a start. We've decided to make it a point that every Tuesday is our 'Sisterly Run Day'. Might increase the frequency slowly. Other than that, I'll continue with my routine jogs.
Tomorrow's sure gonna be a busy day. Got a number of errands to run early in the morning, following which I need to head down all the way somewhere around Buona Vista (which is bloody far away from where I live) to settle the terms and conditions of my new job. I'm kinda looking forward to it, but it's sure making me all anxious and nervous as to what to expect and stuff. It's my first official full-time job and I honestly don't know what to expect. So many thoughts keep crossing my head - what if I don't meet the work standards, will I be able to cope, will I get along with the people there, will I adapt to the new work environment and new working-life phase....etc???
Only time will tell. I've just gotta be myself and do my best. Hopefully everything will work out.
