For some reason I just feel as if the energy has been sucked out from within me this entire week. Been feeling rather lathargic and sleepy. Maybe I've been trying to do too much within a day. Tried to catch up on my sleep the past 2 days, hopefully the week ahead will be a better one. :)
Oooo... I'm feeling really happy now. Finally managed to contact my ex-canoeing team coach and he says I can come down to use his boats to train again! He's sucha nice guy, I'm not saying this bcoz he letting me row! Heehee! It's been eons since I last paddled.... really miss the whole feeling and adrenaline of rowing. I'm thinking I should start forcing myself to train in a K1, coz the T1 events are getting pretty outdated already. Well, that's it for my paddling joy! Yay, tanner skin and fitter me, here I come! *I'll just have to make sure I don't bulk up to the JC canoeing days me!*
On another note, first semi-final match tonight - England vs France. As much as I'm upset about the All Blacks being knocked out (as u all would know by my ramblings now), I love the game of rugby, so I'm gonna catch it with my family later at 3pm on the telly. Actually, I'm quite surprised at how the rest of my family have taken an interest in watching rugby matches, even my mum who's not exactly ur typical sports fanatic. It's nice to know, but it can get quite annoying during the match especially when she starts asking why certain things are happening or why they keep kicking the ball out. Haha... she's cute!
Well, not that I'm a fan of either teams, but I'm hoping France will win this (even though they knocked out my All Blacks), just becoz I'm hoping the finals will be a showdown between South Africa and France. That would be worth to watch! Yea, it would indeed. Then, if that happens, I'll cheer for the Springboks. Hahah, I sound like a traitor to the French!
The Tingster aka Chels was asking me if I was considering to go to New Zealand for the next Rugby World Cup 2011. At this point in time, it sure sounds like an awesome plan and I'm seriously contemplating it. It'll be a terific experience for sure being on home ground of our favourite team! Hopefully, I'll finally get to see the All Blacks in person.... especially u know who... uh hmmmm.... Mr Collins! Well, at least this gives me some time to plan ahead and start saving up! Now I'm secretly hating my cousin for migrating from NZ to Aust, if not for which I could have put up with her during my stay there... even better, coz she was based in Wellington - hometown of Mr. Collins! Arghhh...why did she move!
