So what really happened???
13th Nov Linkin Park Live in Concert @ Sg Indoor Stadium - This was the concert I long awaited for ever since I heard that they were coming to Singapore. As I said in an earlier post, I totally missed them the last time they came to Sg and performed at the Padang coz I was still studying in Aussie land. Anyway, in short - the concert was rockingly, samashingly and wickedly awesome! I loved it, we got pretty darn good seats and had such a blast there headbanging my head off and screaming along with Chester to all their songs. Possibly the best concert I've been to in a long time (not that I've been to that many in the first place!). Chels and her brother came along as well.... and yea, I think her bro was really into it coz he pretty much knew all their songs by heart! *bravo to Aloy*
But yea, LP can really perform live! Apart from the fact that they pretty much scream for most part of their songs... they're one talented and successful band alright. At least they do a good mix, from the slower with a softer more classical edge to it, down to the more hard core classic rock songs. With a near sold out crowd and a very disappointing late start from the scheduled time, I guess all was forgotten when the curtains came down and the band strutted their stuff. Everyone went wild especially when their popular songs came on.... like 'Numb', 'In the End', 'Crawling' and 'Bleed it Out'. Chels and I were totally into it, singing along and screaming. Not to forget, oogling at Chester and Mike. Hahah... so much for fun, time just passed by so quickly, and soon more than 90mins ended just like that. Nonetheless, it was a good night alright! I'll definitely go for their concert again, maybe this time get the standing tixs!
The Opening Act....
15-16th Nov Company Team Building @ Pulau Ubin
Ok, I have to confess I initially dreaded this day to come. Hello, like who likes team building events and Pulau Ubin? Are u mad? Aren't the mosquitoes there fat and well fed enough? Anyway, no choice right, so just have to make the best out of it.
Surprisingly it didn't turn out all that bad in the end. There were your typical silly crappy ice breaker games and yea, team building activities where there's no winner no loser, coz the main objective is that the entire team works together and stuff....blah blah blah. Ok, so apart from that, I think most of my enjoyment came from hanging out with my fellow colleagues from my lab. We play quite a few silly games which were totally hilarious. Made each other feel stupid with lame brain teaser games and just crapping away.
I used to visit Pulau Ubin quite often when I was younger with my family. Usually headed there to cycle and stuff, also coz my dad had a friend there who owned a fruit plantation. We would usually help him harvest his produce by picking his limes, durians, rumbutans and jackfruits! That was so much fun, especially the eating part! Since then, it sure has developed and change quite a bit coz we actually stayed in air-conditioned chalets, so yea, we were pretty spoilt I admit. Quite nice and comfortable to sleep in too. In the end, I'm glad I went and I'm glad its over.
This was actually taken when we were heading back!

Spastic smile... :)
Need I elaborate? Nothing special... same ol' same ol'
